In this seminar, I will show that a model based on stochatic dynamics holds very interesting propeties to face major issues met by determistic models to explain cell differentiation and tissue organisation. In particular, I will show that such a model possess the main properties expected by a fundamental model of cell differentiation and embryogenesis. Interestingly, I will also show that the tissue organisation properties of this model bring new highlights on the problematic of carcinogenesis.
