We study a new method for the elaboration of nanoporous biomatrials intended to deliver encapsulated molecules via diffusion by using soft physico-chemical methods. Our strategy consists of casting a polylactide biopolymer around templating micelles. The micelles are polyion complexes prepared from double hydrophilic block copolymers and hydrosuluble polyamines in aqueous solution. Firstly, we show that by switching the aqueous solvent to an organic one, the complexes remain stable and unchanged. Secondly, we study the behavior of the micelles in concentrated aqueous and organic solutions and demonstrate the stability of these solutions. The polylactide biopolymer is then added to the organic solution to form the continuous matrix around the templating micelles. We demonstrate the miscibility between the micelles and the biopolymer in solution, as well as in the bulk state after solvent evaporation, under specific experimental conditions.
