With the help of my PhD advisor Sylvie Hénon, I study experimentally and theoretically the shape of cells in epithelia. This work aims at bringing a better understanding of the mechanical properties of epithelial tissues which is crucial in many biological processes including morphogenesis, which we specifically try to account for.
