Research interests

I am a theoretical physicist working in the field of out-of-equilibrium statistical mechanics with a strong interest in problems at the interface between physics and biology. Currently, I am studying pattern formation in populations of swimming bacteria. In particular, I study how quorum-sensing interactions which make bacterial motility depend on the local density of bacteria can lead to interesting spatial organisation of the colonies.
